Vitasoy believes it’s important to plant healthy habits early in life and is committed to supporting the children and communities. With the guidance of the Chinese Centre for Disease Control and Prevention (China CDC), Vitasoy joined hands with health.people.cn and the Beijing Health Alliance Charitable Foundation to launch the multi-year community care project “Promoting Healthy Diets and Supporting Rural Revitalization” in Mainland China in December 2021.
In 2022, the project has covered 10 rural counties in six provinces including Hebei, Henan, Hunan, Guizhou, Gansu and Shanxi, benefiting 42 primary schools and helping more than 6,000 students. Despite the challenges, we distributed more than 877,000 packs of Vitasoy products, delivered booklets that promote healthy habits, and supported nutrition classes.
Mr. Carl Su, Group Chief Operating Officer of Vitasoy and Chief Executive Officer of Vitasoy Mainland China said, “Giving back to society is at the heart of Vitasoy’s core values, and the health of rural Chinese children is always one of our key focuses. We are honored to be part of this meaningful initiative. Under the guidance of China CDC, we wish to create public goodwill and a positive social atmosphere to enhance the nutrition and health of children through more interesting and interactive forms of education.”
That’s just another way we continue to plant goodness every day for generations to come.
