Vitasoy is committed to promoting healthy lifestyles and caring for our communities by enhancing public nutrition knowledge and providing delicious nutritious products for people and the planet. That’s why, with the guidance of the Chinese Centre for Disease Control and Prevention, we are excited to support the launch of the Community Care Project, which has been organised by health.people.cn and the Beijing Health Alliance Charitable Foundation.
This initiative will promote healthy diets through nutrition and health education to help revitalise key provinces in rural mainland china. Although the nutritional health conditions of children and adolescents in mainland China have greatly improved in recent years, there is still more to do. To support this initiative Vitasoy has initially pledged RMB 10 million per year. Additionally, we will provide 6000 children from 30 rural primary schools with high quality nutritional products every month to promote healthy bodies and healthy minds.
At the launching ceremony of the project in December 2021, Yan Jun, Deputy Secretary and Deputy Director of the Chinese Centre for Disease Control and Prevention, said, “We hope this platform can attract more attention from the public, encourage them to participate in the nutrition and health promotion activities for the rural children and adolescents, so as to safeguard the future generation of our nation.”
